Richard picked up the phone on the morning of 1 May. By the end of the day, the keys to a 2024 BMW X6 35D were in his hand — and the live reveal had racked up over 200,000 views across our channels.
The draw closed on Sunday night with all 649 tickets sold in just under three days. We ran the live draw on Instagram on Monday morning. As always: random number generator, full clip, no edits.
We dialled Richard at 10:47am. He picked up on the third ring, very quietly said "yes?" — and we let the silence hang for a moment before reading out the winning number.
Richard took delivery from our Newport workshop the following Friday. He's a full-time tradesman, said the X6 was a complete dream pick — "for school runs and the weekend, not the site." Family was at the workshop with him for the handover. We filmed every second of it.

Cash alternative on this one was £70,000. Richard didn't even consider it — "for a tradie like me, £70k disappears into the business overnight. The car? That's the thing I never would have bought myself."
