This policy explains what TC Competitions Limited ("we", "our", "us") does with your personal data when you use the Service. We're registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15576593) at Severn House, Hazell Drive, Newport NP10 8FY. We're the data controller.
1. What we collect
- Identity & contact: name, email, phone, postal address, age (to verify 18+).
- Payment: processed via PCI-DSS-compliant providers — we never see or store your full card number.
- Order & entry data: the competitions you've entered, ticket numbers, and qualifying answers.
- Technical: IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited (cookies & analytics).
2. Why we use it
- To process entries, run draws, and pay prizes.
- To verify eligibility (age + residency).
- To send transactional emails (receipts, ticket numbers, draw notifications).
- To prevent fraud and meet regulatory obligations.
- With your consent, to send marketing — unsubscribe at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share data with payment processors (Stripe, Total Processing), email/SMS providers (Klaviyo), analytics (Plausible), live-chat tools, and our auditors. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. How long we keep it
Order and entry records: 7 years (HMRC + draw records). Marketing data: until you unsubscribe. Account data: while your account is active + 12 months after closure. Technical logs: 90 days.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, restrict our processing, object to marketing, and ask for a portable copy. Email privacy@tccomps.co.uk or use the form in your account.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies (session, cart) and — only with your consent — analytics cookies. You can manage your preferences in the cookie banner that appears on your first visit.
